The Kathleen M. Staffaroni and Marilyn G. Gardner Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) Private non operating and Grantmaking Foundation. We are a non governmental organization with funds by family members, supporters and programs managed by the trustees .
We established the Foundation in May 2001 to celebrate Kathy's life, by maintaining or aiding social, educational, religious or other charitable activities serving the common welfare with the basic belief that all people are deemed worthy of and entitled to happiness and equality .
The intent of the Foundation is to fund organizations that have a need and share our mission .
Since inception we concentrated the majority of our grant making in the Italian region of Umbria. Now and for the future, we wish to provide the same funds to selected local, state and national governmental entities or charitable tax exempt non profit organizations .
